connect. We had a really good time! 4:12 Founder and
CEO Stanley Porter gave a phenomenal presentation on
“4 Things An Independent Artist Should Never Say”. Award
winning artist K’loni Sky was very encouraging as she
shared her experiences as a rising star in the music
industry. The audience seemed particularly interested in
how the system of royalties works. Special thanks to Carin
O’Connor, Head Librarian at the Dudley Branch Library, for
allowing us to use the space. We also appreciate the live
band, visual artists, and studio owners who added their
unique flavor to the event. Based on our event survey there
is a strong demand for a follow-up event, which we are
